SHIELDTerms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Furkan Kumkaya, the maker of the Shield mobile game (“Shield”, “we”). By using Shield you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use Shield. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires it to use online services without a parent's consent. Your account is a guest account linked to your device and is for your personal use only.
2. Gold is play currency
- Gold, levels, badges and other items in Shield have no money value. They cannot be bought, sold, traded, transferred to another player or exchanged for money or anything of value, inside or outside the game.
- Gold is a licence to use a game feature, not property you own. Entry fees, pots and rewards are part of the game and may be changed or rebalanced.
- Shield is not gambling: nothing in the game can ever be won as or turned into money.
3. AI players
When there aren't enough players online, some seats may be filled by AI players. They follow the same rules, see only the cards a person in that seat would see, and are never tuned to make you win or lose. AI players are not shown on leaderboards.
4. Fair play and conduct
You agree not to:
- cheat, use bots, scripts, modified apps or exploit bugs;
- share an account, or play together to throw matches or move Gold between accounts;
- choose a name that is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone, or contains personal information;
- harass other players or abuse the report system;
- attack, overload or reverse engineer the game or its servers.
We have zero tolerance for abusive content and behaviour. You can report or block any player from their profile card. We review reports and may reset names, remove progress, or suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.
5. Ads
You can choose to watch rewarded ads for Gold, up to a daily limit. Rewards are granted only when the ad provider confirms a completed view.
6. The service
Shield is an online game and is provided “as is”. It may sometimes be unavailable, and we may change, add or remove features, or stop the game. If a match is interrupted by a server problem, entry fees are returned. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress, lost Gold or indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
7. Our content
The game, its art, sounds and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Shield on your devices under these terms. Apple and Google are not responsible for Shield or these terms, but they may enforce them as third-party beneficiaries where their store rules provide for it.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Account → Delete account). We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; we will change the date above and tell you in the app when the change is significant. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without limiting the mandatory consumer rights of the country you live in.
